Installation
- Sign up as a Trexity merchant.
- In your Trexity merchant portal, create pickup locations that match your locations in 2Ship. It's important that locations in 2Ship and Trexity match exactly so that our system can show you correct rates.
- Activate Trexity as a carrier within 2Ship. You will require admin privileges or you will need to contact your 2Ship rep to activate Trexity as a carrier.
- The Trexity 2Ship carrier will require a Trexity Merchant API key. When asked for your API KEY, open a new browser tab or window and log into your Trexity merchant portal. From here, go to your Trexity API > API Keys page and create a new API KEY. Copy this API KEY and paste it into the input field from 2Ship.
What is an API KEY?
API KEYs are like passwords that are used by other computers and software that you trust so they can do work on your behalf.
How It Works
When you use 2Ship to choose Trexity as the carrier for delivery, a corresponding delivery will be create in the Trexity merchant portal. All the relevant delivery info i.e. delivery address, customer contact info, etc will be pulled in to the Trexity delivery.
If you then make edits to the delivery in 2Ship, the original Trexity delivery will be deleted and a new one will be created with the updated info.
Once a delivery has gone live and a courier is on their way, you won't be able to make any further updates. Please reach out to Trexity support if changes are needed - you can reach them through the live chat in the Trexity merchant portal.
NOTE: If changes are made to the delivery in the Trexity merchant portal, they will not be reflected back in your 2Ship account.
As mentioned in the above instructions, your pickup locations in 2Ship should match the locations you create in the Trexity merchant portal. For more info on how multiple locations work for your integration, please see the "Integrations" section here.
