How Do I Set Up the Trexity Shopify App?
To use Trexity with your Shopify store, follow these steps to ensure your store is ready for integration.
1. Sign Up for a Shopify Plan
To install the Trexity Shopify App, your store must be on a Shopify plan that includes third-party carrier-calculated rates.

Advanced Shopify includes this by default.
Shopify (Standard) may include it if you switch to annual billing—contact Shopify Support to request it.

3. Add a Canadian Shipping Zone
Trexity currently only supports deliveries within Canada. You must add a Canadian shipping zone in your Shopify shipping settings.
Go to Settings > Shipping and delivery > Shipping zones.
Add a zone with Canada selected.
Add at least one rate—even a placeholder rate like “Free shipping for orders over $10,000,000”.
This allows the Trexity app to install properly, even if the rate won’t appear at checkout.
4. Install the Trexity Shopify App
Go to the Trexity Shopify App page.
Click Add App, then log into your Shopify admin to complete the installation.
Note: It may take up to 1 hour after store setup before installation is available.
5. Check Your Locations
If you have multiple store locations, Trexity supports multi-location Shopify stores—as long as the addresses are within our delivery zones.
Log into the Trexity Merchant Portal.
Go to Integrations and ensure your Shopify locations match your Trexity locations.
6. Configure the Trexity App Settings
During setup, you'll log into your Trexity Merchant Portal and can adjust the following options under Integrations:
Override Shopify Fulfillment Location
Enable this to always use your Trexity business address as the pickup location.
Only use this if you don’t rely on Shopify’s multi-location fulfillment.
Set Custom Delivery Availability
Go to Trexity API > Preferences.
Set conditions for when Trexity appears at checkout (e.g., order value, distance, delivery rate).
Set Custom Delivery Rates
In Trexity API > Preferences, you can create flat or conditional rates that your customers see.
Example: Offer flat-rate shipping within 10 km.
7. Enable Trexity at Checkout
After setup, the Trexity App is disabled by default.
To enable:
Log into your Trexity Merchant Portal.
Go to Integrations.
Check the box: “Show Trexity delivery during checkout”.
You can disable it anytime by unchecking this option.
