When creating a delivery, you can set requirements to ensure the right courier is assigned. These include:

Proof of delivery type (Photo, PIN, or Signature)

Items that can’t be left unattended
Important: To enforce these requirements, you must enter the recipient’s phone number and email. If these fields are left blank, the system may use your business contact details. This means you'll receive notifications intended for the recipient, which may delay or prevent successful delivery.
Proof of Delivery Options
1. Photo Proof

Use this for packages that can be left at the door.

The courier will take a photo at the drop-off location.

You can view the photo in the route details section of your Merchant Portal.
2. PIN Verification

Use this for deliveries that must be handed directly to a person.

The package cannot be left unattended.

Trexity sends a unique PIN to the recipient’s phone and email.
-
The recipient must provide the PIN to the courier to complete the delivery.

If no one is available to provide the PIN, the item will be returned to the pickup location.
Required for: All prescription, alcohol, and tobacco/vape deliveries.
3. Signature Verification

Use this for deliveries that require extra security or confirmation.

The courier will ask the recipient to sign directly on their mobile device.

A copy of the signed proof is available in your route details.

Make sure the recipient’s phone and email are provided so they can be notified ahead of time.
If no one is available to sign, the package will be returned to the pickup location.
Additional Delivery Requirements
Alcohol:
Contains Any Trace of Alcohol

Check this box if the package contains any amount of alcohol, including items like kombucha or non-alcoholic beverages.

Trexity will assign couriers who are certified to handle alcohol.
Requires Legal Age Verification by Law

Check this box for all deliveries containing alcoholic products.

Couriers must:

Be of legal age and properly certified.

Check the recipient’s ID at delivery.

A person of legal age must be present to provide the PIN sent to the recipient.
If not, the delivery will be returned.
Perishable Items:

Check this box if the delivery contains perishable goods.

Items must be properly packaged and insulated to handle transit conditions.
