Successfully completing a delivery is just as important as picking it up. Here's how to ensure a smooth and professional drop-off experience every time.
Prepare for Navigation
Once all packages are scanned and securely placed in your vehicle, your Trexity Driver App will prompt you to open the map and begin navigation to your first delivery stop.
Confirm the Correct Address
When you arrive at the destination, take a moment to verify that you are at the correct address. In your app, you will be required to check a confirmation box before proceeding.
Important: Delivering to the wrong address may result in the deactivation of your account. Always double-check!
Review Drop-Off Instructions
Each customer may have specific delivery instructions. These could include:
- Leaving the package at a particular location (e.g., front porch, side door)
- Placing cold or perishable items in a cooler box
Please follow these instructions closely, as they are essential to the customer experience.
Scan the Correct Package
Locate the package that matches the Order ID in your app and scan the QR code:
- ✅ If your screen turns green, it’s the correct package.
- ❌ If your screen turns red, you have selected the wrong package. Re-check and scan the correct one.
Tip: If a concierge asks you to leave the package in the lobby, please notify the customer by calling them through the app.
Greet the Customer Professionally
When handing over the package, introduce yourself and mention the business's name rather than Trexity. This helps avoid confusion.
For example:
“Hi, I’m Ray. I’m here with your order from La Bottega.”
This approach keeps the interaction clear and customer-friendly.
Never leave a package unattended in a common area.
- All packages must be delivered directly to the house door.
- For condos or apartment buildings, the package must be delivered to the recipient’s unit door, not left in lobbies or mailrooms.
- If you are unable to access the building:
- Use the contact options in the app to reach out to the recipient.
- You may leave the package in the lobby, in a safe and secure area, only after attempting to call the recipient and receiving no response.
This ensures packages are delivered safely and securely, and it protects both you and the customer.
