Eligibility Criteria
Couriers may be eligible for a wait-time bonus under the following conditions:
- The courier has arrived at the pickup location
- The order is not ready for pickup
- The courier has waited more than 5 minutes
Reporting a Delay
Notify Support
- Contact Support via chat as soon as a delay is identified
- Provide details confirming the order is not ready
Wait at Pickup Location
- Couriers are expected to wait up to 15 minutes at the pickup location
Support Intervention
- If the order is still not ready after 15 minutes, Support will:
- Contact the merchant
- Determine next steps, including potential order cancellation
Wait-Time Compensation Structure
- Wait-Time Bonus Rate: $0.33 per minute
- Maximum Wait-Time Bonus: $5.00
Order Cancellation
If the order is not ready within the 15-minute wait period:
- The order may be cancelled by Support
- The courier will receive a cancellation fee, which includes compensation for:
- Travel to the pickup location
- Time spent waiting
Good to know:
Batch routes are not eligible for wait-time bonuses.
If you choose not to wait the full 15-minute period, you may renounce the route directly through the app.
