Trexity offers three proof of delivery options, allowing you to choose the method that best fits what you’re delivering and the level of confirmation you need:
- Photo
- PIN
- Signature
Each option provides a different balance of convenience, security, and compliance.
Important note:
Merchants have the ability to modify the proof of delivery method prior to the order being scheduled or going live.
Merchants are unable to modify the proof of delivery method once the order is waiting for acceptance, has been accepted by a courier, is en route for pickup, or is out for delivery.
Photo Proof of Delivery
Designed for standard drop-off deliveries where a hand-off is not required.
- Packages are delivered to the address and documented with a photo for both you and the recipient
- Photo deliveries cannot be returned to your location
Important to know:
Because the delivery is considered complete once the photo is captured, this option is best suited for items that do not require a recipient to be present.
PIN / Signature Proof of Delivery
PIN and Signature proof of delivery are used when a direct hand-off to the recipient is required.
- By law, prescriptions, alcohol, and vape products must use this delivery method
- Packages will not be left at the doorstep
- If the recipient is unavailable or the location is closed, the order will be returned

This option provides an added layer of security and compliance for regulated or high-value items.
Choosing your Proof of Delivery:
- Log in to your Merchant Portal and create a New Delivery
- Scroll to Proof of Delivery
- Select your preferred option
- Save your changes
Your selection will apply to that delivery and determine how the courier completes the drop-off.
