Signature Proof of Delivery requires in-person verification, including PIN validation and a customer signature. These deliveries must be completed through direct handoff only.
Signature Proof of Delivery Process
Verify Address and Scan Packages
- Confirm the delivery address matches the app.
- Scan all packages:
- Green: Correct package
- Red: Incorrect package — recheck and scan the correct item
Greet the Customer and Request PIN
- Politely greet the customer.
- Request the 4-digit PIN in person.
- Typically, this is the last 4 digits of the phone number used to place the order.
Verify the PIN
- Enter the PIN into the app.
- If the PIN is invalid:
- Do not proceed with the delivery
- Contact Support via the app
Obtain Customer Signature
- Once the PIN is verified:
- Hand your device to the customer
- Have them sign in the designated signature field within the app
Enter Customer Name
- After the signature is completed:
- Ask for the customer’s first name and enter it into the app as prompted.
Complete Delivery
- Hand the package directly to the customer.
- Confirm completion in the app.
Important Note:
- Couriers must never sign on behalf of the customer.
- PINs must be obtained in person only; not via phone or text.
